German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht agrees with Chancellor Olaf Scholz that all measures should be considered as sanctions against the Russian Federation in case of aggression against Ukraine, TASS quotes the minister’s interview with the Welt am Sonntag newspaper.
"If the Chancellor says that everything is taken into account from a political, diplomatic and economic point of view, then there should be no taboos," the head of the German Defense Ministry said.
"The idea that economic cooperation will be carried out in the heart of Europe during a war initiated by Russia is absolutely unrealistic," she added.
